I led in planning and facilitating 10 spoken word poetry workshops with Chatback.
Chatback is a Stockport based poetry project to bring attention to the beauty of speaking your mind. They want to change what people think about poetry and who can be a poet.
During the course of the workshops participants learnt techniques to challenge their writing and encourage independent thought and collaboration.
At the end of the project, they will compile their work into a zine and celebrate it with a launch event for members of the public to celebrate with the artists, writers, graphic designers, printers and facilitators of Stockport!

I am currently lead facilitating a queer support group with FORWARD, a local Stockport organisation who aim to provide a visible and dedicated safe space for local LGBTQ+ folks, family and friends, to meet, participate and share with the wider community.
NHS Language Intervention Facilitator
December 2021-Present
Specifically offering writing and langauge support for students from disadvantaged backgrounds through teaching Pupil
Premium grant holders at a school in Longsight.
This involved one-to-one sessions and pre-organised language intervention groups ran via the NHS Language Intervention specification. I aimed to create an inclusive safe space to engage in activities such as singing and playing instruments.
